Who We Are

We are members of the Society For Creative Anachronism, Inc. We are a group of Households, bound together by our commitment to pursue excellence in our hobby, our associations and our lives. In the Lodge, friends are the family you choose for yourself. That family bond is what makes us more than individuals and more than Households.

It makes us The Moose Lodge. "The Lodge" song will be available shortly.

Who We Are Not

We are NOT the "Order of the Drunken Moose"   

—They are a different group, however, it must be admitted that, as a description, it is sometimes accurate. You got a problem with that?

We are NOT the "Loyal Order Of The Moose"

—or any modern civic/social organization. We are sure these people are very nice, but they are also a different deal entirely. 

We are NOT a Cult

— Cults are usually ideologically driven, well armed, and centered around a single charismatic individual. Hmm... we'll get back with you on that one.

We DO have Rules

— However, no one is allowed to write down the rules. New people must guess them.  

We have NO plans

— We make things up as we go along. Really.
